Job description

Our Investment Management client is seeking a dynamic self-starting Administration Assistant, with an interest in gaining exposure to the investment management industry, to join their growing business.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, be able to work with autonomy, and bring ideas to help shape and improve business processes.

This Administrative Assistant must have strong administrative and communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail. They must be reliable and accountable, able to work independently with minimal oversight, and eager to learn and grow in the finance sector.

Power Point skills advantageous.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Reception duties, such as phones, mail, keeping front of house in order.
  • General admin such as filing, photocopying and scanning documents.
  • Maintaining kitchen & supplies.
  • Meeting / meeting room administration.
  • Finance admin including invoices, payment of bills & invoice audit.
  • Database management.
  • Office management including overseeing general supplies and facilities.
  • Liaising with facilities regarding building and office maintenance.
  • Overseeing contracts - cleaning, fire & risk assessments.
  • Booking events.
  • Arranging couriers.
  • Assisting with marketing department admin as required, including PowerPoint presentations.
  • Admin support to Partners and wider team.

Salary: £19,200 (based on 4 days 9-4).

Holiday: 25 days- pro rata.

Hours: 24 hr week over 4 days (Mon - Thu / 9am to 4 pm).

Based: Office.
