This role involves operational support for market services, including handling bookings, payments, and trader applications. East Lindsey District Council are looking for an Admin Assistant to assist the Markets Team deliver its markets.
Covering Louth, Horncastle and Spilsby Markets, you will help deliver a high performing and fit for purpose markets service.
You will provide operational support in many ways such as, taking bookings and payments from traders via phone and email, update relevant Excel spreadsheets, log occupancy figures, provide up to date market plans to Stall Erectors prior to markets, process trader applications and deal with any enquiries relating to the markets.
This role will be mainly office/home based, and in the absence of the Market Officer, you may be required to occasionally attend the outdoor markets to liaise with Market Traders, conduct basic health and safety checks and support the day to day running of the market.
You will also be part of a small team who will implement a new, online booking and payments platform, supporting traders throughout the process.
Monday – Friday – 9am-5pm
Occasional Saturday working
