Job Title: Administration Business Management Officer

Location: Brough- On site

Salary: £30,571

What you’ll be doing:

• IT support to ordering and administering access requests
• Safety Health and Environment (SHE): is a display screen equipment (DSE) assessor for Flight Sciences team members, support to purchase of PPE/SHE equipment
• Travel: booking of national & international travel for team members
• Corporate Purchasing Card holder (CPC): for purchase of stationary and other requests
• Attendance and Absence Monitoring: Proactively support the control & monitoring of attendance and absence within the Work Force Manager (WFM) application providing support to the wider team, reporting to managers as required

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Understanding of confidential/sensitive information, maintained in line with company policy/procedure
• Understanding of the company, its structure, and relevant procedures
• Understanding of the Management Team and that of Head Office
• Understanding of the different Lines of Business and Functions
• Working knowledge of Concur, Success Factors, SharePoint, and Workforce Manager
• Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Intermediate level of proficiency in the set up and facilitation of virtual meetings e.g., Skype/WebEx
• Previous experience of working in an administrative role

The Flight Sciences Team:

The Flight Sciences team plays a critical role in advancing aerospace engineering, encompassing Flight Systems, Weapons Engineering, and Aerodynamics. Our team is at the forefront of cutting-edge air defence projects, working on platforms such as Typhoon, Tempest, and uncrewed air vehicles.

As part of the Business Support function, you will provide essential support to the team by managing queries via the Business Support Portal, generating spend reports from LN, and assisting with project control activities. While your primary focus will be on Flight Sciences, you will also have opportunities to support broader engineering functions, ensuring smooth operations across multiple projects.
