This role is based within a Care Home and as such an understanding and respect for the needs and privacy of our residents is very important.

This role will be based at Seacroft Court in the seaside town of Skegness. The home is dually registered to provide both nursing and residential care, and has been specially designed to cater to the every need of 49 residents. Typically, residents within the home are living with a range of age-related health conditions, physical disabilities and mental health conditions that require dignified support from our caring team. It is essential that candidates for this role are therefore patient, understanding and respectful of our residents’ individual abilities.

Responsibilities of our Admin Assistant include:
  1. Handling and screening calls and taking messages
  2. Managing the home's incoming mail and distributing throughout the home
  3. Maintaining staff records and filing documentation
  4. Photocopying and binding
  5. Processing invoices
  6. Data entry
  7. Processing and producing quality surveys and presenting the results
  8. Providing administrative support to the Home Manager
  9. Welcoming visitors to the home
What we’re looking for in our Admin Assistant:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a people-oriented individual, who is looking for a rewarding career to work as part of a team to make a difference to people’s lives. Successful candidates for this role will ideally have some relevant experience in an administrative role and be confident in using Microsoft office software. A background in a Healthcare environment is desirable, but not essential as a full induction to the home and introduction to our residents will be provided.
