An opportunity has arisen for a fully qualified and accredited Addictions Therapist with experience of delivering group therapy to join our team of therapists who support the running of our Addiction Treatment Programme in our private acute mental health setting.
We offer an intensive, abstinence-based programme with high levels of group therapy and a strong emphasis on aftercare support.
The successful candidate will have experience within the field, be conversant with the principles and practices of abstinence based treatment and hold at least a Level 5 Diploma in counselling and/or a relevant professional qualification in addictions. The successful candidate will hold full BACP accreditation.
This part-time role will involve the facilitation of specialist psycho-educational and relapse prevention therapy groups, individual sessions, and the completion of assessments and treatment plans for patients referred to our addictions service.
Our service is based on a strong, friendly multidisciplinary team, with an emphasis on supporting our staff through regular supervision, staff support groups, and annual appraisals. Good communication skills and a flexible approach are essential.
Applications from those working towards successful BACP accreditation within the next six to 12 months can be considered, with a revised salary banding of £27,810-£36,050 pro rata (depending on experience) until full accreditation is achieved.
Please note that the successful candidate should be available to work on Thursday from 11:00am-7:00pm and Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm, with the requirement to work an occasional rotational Saturday from 9:00am-5:00pm.
