We are actively seeking Band 6 Acute Medicine Physiotherapists for an exciting opportunity based in Chesterfield.

Location: Chesterfield

Contract Type: Locum ongoing contract

Pay Rate: £25 per hour (assignment rate)

Shift/Working Pattern: Either full time or part time

Main duties of the Physiotherapist:

• Assessing and treating patients with a range of acute medical conditions, often involving complex multi-system issues
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans focused on improving mobility, respiratory function, and overall functional independence
• Managing patients with conditions such as respiratory disorders, neurological impairments, frailty, or post-surgical needs

Requirements of the Physiotherapist:

• Qualified physiotherapist, i.e., Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy
• Recent UK experience within specialised physiotherapy
• Registered with the HCPC as a physiotherapist to work in the UK
• NHS experience would be advantageous but not essential
• Acute Medicine / elderly care experience
• Acute respiratory medicine experience
