Our client is looking for an Actuary with 2-3 years of experience in actuarial work and around 6 actuarial exam passes to join their team.
The purpose of the role is to oversee a range of actuarial tasks, provide technical actuarial input and explanation as necessary, develop actuarial knowledge in line with the actuarial development programme, and provide training for other actuarial trainees. Progress towards becoming a qualified actuary is expected.
You will preferably possess a relevant degree with a grade of 2:1 or above, have a detailed understanding of Excel and Microsoft Office. Proficiency in Excel software, R, VBA, PowerBI, actuarial specific software, and Python is desirable. Ideally, you will be highly numerate and able to lead and provide coaching.
The position can be based in London, Dorking, or Basingstoke with hybrid working and a rotation programme between teams.
