As an Activities Lead at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables the delivery of exceptional all-round care and support for the residents. You will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging activities that celebrate life and promote the wellbeing, independence, and social engagement of the residents.
The Activities Lead will be computer literate and able to work closely with the community engagement team to create community links and showcase the care home. They will also be responsible for updating the home's social media platforms. The role requires a warm, empathetic, and personable approach to get to know the residents and their families, and then create tailored activity programmes. Strong organizational skills, a driven mindset, and an infectious enthusiasm and creative approach are essential to inspire both residents and staff to participate in activities within the home and in the local community.

An extremely rewarding role, part of your time as an Activities Coordinator will be spent getting to know our residents and their families before you create tailored activities programmes focused on maximizing everyone's wellbeing, independence, and social engagement.

Must be able to work weekends and bank holidays.
