Job Vacancy: Activities Coordinator
Location: Lulworth House Residential Care Home in Maidstone, Kent
Contracted hours: Full time (to include – every other weekend free, as applicable)

Work flexibility in accordance with your availability and the service requirements
(Hourly) rate of pay: £12.50

As Activities Coordinator, you will be part of an exceptionally supportive team, providing outstanding physical, emotional, and social assistance to the people living at Lulworth House Residential Care Home.

Nellsar is committed to developing and training our staff to ensure high-quality care is provided to our residents. The successful candidate will receive ongoing training and development with opportunities for progression within the Company, including apprenticeships.

You will have the opportunity to excel while:

  • Ensuring that residents are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences are taken into consideration to enhance their wellbeing.
  • Organising and planning weekly activity programmes (within allocated budget) reflecting residents' preferences, and producing a written rota. Update activities boards around the home.
  • Creating risk assessments for activities and consent forms for families/residents.
  • Producing newsletters to inform residents and their relatives/friends about activities and liaising with the Marketing team in preparing information for newsletters.
  • Supporting residents to access the internet and other communication methods such as letter writing, Skype, and FaceTime.

To maintain skills at a current level and to undertake such training and development as required from time to time to maintain and progress knowledge.
