The role of an Activities Coordinator in a Barchester care home is to create a stimulating environment that enables the delivery of exceptional all-round care and support for the residents. As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for getting to know the residents and their families in order to create tailored activity programmes. Your warm, empathetic, and personable approach, combined with strong organizational skills and a driven mindset, will enable you to inspire both residents and staff to participate in activities within the home and in the local community. While prior experience is beneficial, it is not essential as Barchester will provide the necessary training to develop your skills and support your career progression.

ABOUT YOU You'll need to be warm, empathetic and personable to join us as an Activities Coordinator. Your organisational skills and driven mind-set mean you always get things done and make things happen. Meanwhile, your infectious enthusiasm and creative approach will inspire our residents and staff to get involved in activities both within the home and in the local community. Any similar experience would be ideal, but it isn't essential especially because we'll make sure you have the training you need to develop your skills and progress your career with us.
