ACTIVITIES CO-ORDINATOR

BAND 2 - Salary (£24,647 to £26,763)

As an Activities Co-ordinator at Pulteney House in Wick, you will be a valuable part of the team, helping to create a stimulating environment that enables us to deliver exceptional all-round care and support for our residents.

Part of the role as an Activities Co-ordinator will be spent getting to know residents and their families before creating tailored activities programmes focusing on maximising everyone's wellbeing, independence, and social engagement. You will then document the choices made within their plan of care.

The role also involves supporting residents to access activities in the community as well as providing support at mealtimes.

Applicants should have experience in working with people in a care setting and an interest in developing, organising, and facilitating a range of activities to service users inside and outside the home.

Applicants should have the ability to undertake SVQ 2 and any relevant training, to enable registration with the SSSC or be willing to achieve this within 5 years of appointment.

This is a permanent full-time post of 37 hours working in line with service requirements.

This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
