Duties
- Serves as project lead/manager, conducting organizational and process related studies and analysis of organizations, functions, and work processes to improve mission effectiveness, resource allocation, efficiency, functions, and work processes.
- Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the organization, ensuring that logistics management related operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs.
- Participates in special logistics related operation projects and initiatives and performs special assignments.
- Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

QualificationsExperience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management positions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-02, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-11 or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience is experience in applying program management principles and analysis to accomplish results throughout the various phases of the software acquisition lifecycle surrounding system integration labs and program development including inventory management, reviewing, developing and implementing contracts and financial documents; reviewing and tracking program specific funds dissemination; developing IT and cyber budgets; conducting organizational and process-related studies and analysis to assess software program development or execution; compiling and evaluating data to present to a wide range of customers; and planning the management and acquisition strategy for assigned projects/programs within cost projections, schedule, and performance baselines.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
- Extensive knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of the program and/or strategic sourcing.
- Master knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component. Ability to apply the knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance.
- Extensive knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices as related to the requirements for performance-based logistics, acquisition, supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with accuracy, and maintain good working relations with all individuals and organizations.
- Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations related to organizational issues. Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution.
- Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
