A Day in the Life of an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician:

Join our clients team at a leading private hospital and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and safety of medications provided to patients. Your core responsibilities will include:

  1. Checking prescriptions for accuracy before dispensing.
  2. Working closely with pharmacists to ensure safe medication practices.
  3. Liaising with patients and healthcare professionals regarding medication-related queries.
  4. Maintaining detailed and accurate records of pharmaceutical activity.
  5. Assisting with stock management and maintaining inventory records.
  6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  1. ACT (Accuracy Checking Technician) certificate.
  2. Minimum of 6 months experience working in a community pharmacy.
  3. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Strong communication skills to liaise with patients and the healthcare team.
  6. Hospital experience is not required, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn is essential.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a full-time position with working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The contract will begin in March 2025, with potential for longer-term opportunities.
