Responsibilities of an Accounts Senior –

• Preparation of accounts – Using Sage, Xero, QuickBooks etc.
• Preparation of corporation tax computations.
• Supervising, training and mentoring more junior members of staff.
• Preparation of management accounts and VAT returns.
• Dealing with queries raised and being the point of contact for ad hoc queries.

Our ideal Accounts Senior will have –

• ACCA/ACA/AAT qualified or QBE.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working with a UK Accountancy Practice.
• Experience of preparation of year-end accounts for owner-managed small to medium business, limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
• Be driven and proactive, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and budgets.
