Reed Practice are working with a top 50 practice that has been established for over 70 years. Due to business expansion, several acquisitions, customer demand and accelerated growth, they are seeking an Accounts Senior to join their office in Burton on Trent. This opportunity will allow you to enhance your career with a firm that is innovative, forward-thinking and offers continued support and career development.
Responsible for leading client relationships, advising clients and building relationships across a variety of sectors.
Proactively deal with client queries and requests in relation to HMRC, PAYE and VAT.
Support the planning of jobs for yourself and trainees whilst providing them with adequate training.
Efficiently prepare statutory accounts, management accounts, corporation tax computations and unincorporated accounts to a good standard ready for the review by the senior team.
To oversee a small number of clients including managing workflow, preparation, and meeting deadlines, whilst also maintaining existing client relationships.
Support junior members of the team and enhance their development.
Have obtained their ACA or ACCA qualification.
Have reputable experience working for an accountancy practice.
Be confident in their experience with Cloud accounting software packages, XERO, Sage, and Excel.
Be a confident and articulate communicator.
Be dedicated to delivering a quality service to clients.
Have a full UK driving licence is preferred as you will commute to clients’ sites occasionally.
