Job description

Accounts Semi Senior with Payroll based in Epsom, Surrey: hybrid working and flexible hours.

This Surrey-based firm of Accountants is seeking an Accounts Semi Senior or Assistant Accountant with some experience working with client payroll.

Applications are welcome from candidates with experience working for an accounting practice. You may be an AAT, ACCA or ACA studier - full study support/training will be given. Alternatively, you may be a non-studier who simply enjoys the variety of duties and challenges that working for an accounting firm brings.

The main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Reporting directly to the senior management team
  • Working closely with a wide range of clients, including SME's, LLP's and sole traders
  • Preparing year end accounts for review by the Partners
  • All aspects of Bookkeeping, including VAT and CIS Returns
  • Producing management accounts and ad hoc financial reports
  • Assisting with running client payrolls and pension submissions
  • Calculation of Corporation Tax Returns
  • There may also be an opportunity to assist with audit assignments on occasion.

You will enjoy a varied and challenging role, utilising modern systems, whilst gaining continuous support to develop your technical skills through a mixture of practical training and a structured study programme.
