Job Description

The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for:

  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Posting of receipts/refunds to various accounts
  • Liaising with customers regarding their accounts
  • Setting up and opening accounts on the internal software
  • Offering support to the credit controller
  • Providing holiday cover for the team
  • Issuing of bills/invoices monthly, quarterly & yearly
  • Chasing payments from customers
  • Sending out statements monthly, quarterly & yearly

The Successful Applicant

The Accounts Receivable Clerk will have:

  • Experience in a similar accounting role
  • Customer service experience and the ability to speak to customers on the phone with confidence
  • Computer literacy, particularly with MS Office and Outlook
  • Experience with financial accounting systems is beneficial
  • A flexible approach to teamwork and the ability to deal with a fast-paced environment
  • Due to location, you will need to drive and have access to your own car
  • Immediate availability
