Job description

Our client is seeking a Part-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their dynamic team in Manchester. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform necessary general ledger close procedures including sub-ledger to GL activities, accruals, and journal adjustments
  • Prepare and post journals with appropriate auditable documentation
  • Complete agreed recharges, reallocations, assisting with IFRS adjustments, and revaluation journals
  • Perform elimination and allocation journal entries
  • Assist with Lease accounting and HETV accounting
  • Support annual calendar of audit activities
  • Work collaboratively with other pillars in RTR and across Finance Operations to resolve discrepancies and identify errors
  • Deliver defined performance service levels aligned with the KPIs and SLAs for the RTR team

As a Part-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist, you bring valuable experience as an assistant accountant along with your organisational skills and attention to detail. Your proficiency in accounting software, especially Oracle Fusion ERP, will be instrumental in this role. Your resilience under pressure, ability to meet tight deadlines, and adaptability to change are key attributes that will ensure your success. Furthermore, your developing IT skills including GSuite and Excel will be beneficial.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Assistant accountant (PQ or equivalent) with experience of working in a finance department
  • Organised, detail oriented with good numeracy skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software (preferably Oracle Fusion ERP)
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
  • Resilience and adaptability to change
  • Developing IT skills including GSuite and Excel
