Position: Accounts Receivable Assistant
Employed on a full-time basis and reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Receivable Assistant will act as part of the Finance team, providing a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Service. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in managing the group's accounts receivable function, ensuring all customer invoices and payments are accurately processed, and debts are chased in a timely manner.
The duties and accountabilities of the post may change, and the Accounts Receivable Assistant may be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within the postholder's capabilities. The key tasks and accountabilities associated with the role are as follows:
Applicants should possess a basic understanding of UK accounting standards and regulations, be highly motivated with a keen eye for detail and accuracy, and continually demonstrate an ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
It is essential that applicants possess prior experience in an accounts receivable or sales ledger role, as well as strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Good communication skills with the ability to convey financial information clearly are essential in this role, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new financial systems and processes. Applicants will ideally possess experience gained in a manufacturing environment and working with ERP systems; however, this is not essential.
As there will be some requirement to travel to other Company locations in the UK, a UK driving licence is essential. Applicants should be aware this may require occasional overnight stays away from home.
This is a great opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join a committed and dedicated team at a time of growth in a rewarding and engaging environment and a great workplace community.
If you possess the skills, knowledge, and experience suitable for this vacant post, please apply.
