Accounts Payable Team Leader

The Company
As an ambitious market leader, our client is a leading engineering group with operations across EMEA. Due to an exciting time of growth, they are looking for an Accounts Payable Team Leader to join their team.

The Role

As the Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will oversee the AP function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations. You will lead a small team, drive process improvements, and collaborate with internal departments and suppliers.
Your duties will include:

1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable team
2. Ensure invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time
3. Oversee supplier statement reconciliations and resolve queries
4. Support month-end and year-end closing activities
5. Train, mentor, and develop team members

The Person

You will have experience in an AP leadership role ideally before and have a strong knowledge of the AP process. You will have a hands-on approach and have experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally within engineering or manufacturing. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as well as proficiency in MS Office.
