Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager

Location: Euston

Remuneration: £45,000 - £48,000 plus a range of benefits

Contract Details: Full time, Permanent

As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of 4 and overseeing all accounts payable functions within our client's organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional with a minimum of 3 years of solid accounts payable experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage a team and effectively plan, review, and evaluate accounts payable tasks.
2. Establish and implement procedures and guidelines to mitigate the risk of theft and fraud while ensuring efficient processing.
3. Utilise CAPP guidelines to ensure effective internal controls and assist team members in achieving department goals.
4. Respond to internal and external requests for information and assistance, ensuring equal distribution of work within the team.
5. Process electronic transfers and payments, oversee staff expenses, and conduct aged creditor reviews.
6. Maintain, approve, and reconcile accounts payable transactions, verifying invoices and authorising payments.
7. Cultivate inclusive and respectful working relationships, communicating effectively with colleagues and the wider accounts team.
8. Identify and implement efficiencies in the accounts payable function, supporting testing for projects and upgrades.
9. Carry out ad hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

1. Accounts payable qualification CAPP or similar.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
3. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with a professional attitude.
4. Strong customer focus and good knowledge of Oracle-based systems.
5. Highly numerate and accurate, with excellent attention to detail.
6. Good knowledge of Excel and experience working across multiple Outlook inboxes.
7. Leadership skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
8. Historic experience of using NetSuite.
9. Service industry experience (Manpower).
