Accounts Payable Manager

Working for a leading not-for-profit organisation in Plymouth.

Your new role

You will manage a team of two accounts payable staff and ensure the team delivers an efficient service for the organisation and its subsidiaries.

1. Perform accurate reconciliations.
2. Process all supplier invoices, ensuring all supplier invoices are approved and paid.
3. Deal with supplier queries promptly.
4. Manage the team on a daily basis with effective line management.
5. Oversee month-end procedures.
6. Ensure BACS and cheque payments are prepared for approval.
7. Support the submission of HMRC claims.
8. Attend monthly meetings with the Financial Controller to review the Trade payables position.

What you'll need to succeed

1. Previous staff management experience.
2. Ideally, AAT qualified.
3. High volume processing experience.
