The Role As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Accounts Payable function, leading a team of six assistants, and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier payments. You will play a key role in driving efficiency and process improvements within the finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and setting up new supplier accounts in line with company policy
Overseeing the processing and authorisation of supplier invoices through the Templa system
Conducting supplier statement reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies
Ensuring timely month-end closure of the purchase ledger
Leading and developing the Accounts Payable team through regular reviews and appraisals
Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc analysis and project work
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in an Accounts Payable leadership role within a medium/large organisation
Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes and financial systems
Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, V-lookups)
A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
