Introduction

We're looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to lead a small team of two Accounts Payable Assistants whilst providing critical support to our Finance function. In this pivotal role, you will ensure our obligations to key suppliers (both for inventory and non-inventory goods and services) are met, whilst keeping in close touch with internal stakeholders from our Commercial, Supply Chain and Technology teams.

Day to day duties will include:

1. Leading and managing a team of two Accounts Payable Assistants
2. Working with the Finance team to build out process improvements to support with the scalability of the Accounts Payable function
3. Processing invoices and supplier payments (inventory and non-inventory), including leading the PPV/PQV process for inventory supplier payments
4. Frequent communication with Category Management and Technology stakeholders on Inventory supplier Payments
5. Employee expense management
6. Monthly supplier reconciliations
7. Monthly balance sheet reconciliations including owning the Accounts Payable ledger
8. Leading on invoice generation to our Partners and other credit control related tasks (Accounts Receivable ledger)
9. Invoice validations and checks

Skills and experience:

1. 5+ years of experience working in Accounts Payable
2. Experience of working with start-ups and scale-ups or within a fast-paced environment
3. Experience using Google Sheets, Excel for data analysis
4. Xero experience is beneficial
5. Spendesk or alternative integrated spend management solution experience is beneficial
