Accounts Payable Manager

Accounts Payable Manager required on a permanent basis.

Hybrid working role based in Lichfield.

Job Description

1. Co-ordinate day to day tasks within the team
2. Help drive improvements in our new purchase to pay system
3. Month and year end procedures
4. Support with annual audit
5. Management reporting as required
6. Accurately process a high volume of purchase invoices
7. Pro-actively resolve invoice and payment queries
8. Code direct purchase ledger invoices
9. Reconcile account balances
10. Cover for payroll where required
11. Manage a variety of payment requests and queries
12. Ensure payments are made correctly in multiple currencies
13. Reconcile bank accounts
14. Process company expenses and credit cards

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Payable Manager should have:

1. A minimum of 3 years purchase ledger and cash book experience
2. Payroll experience
3. Sage 50, QuickBooks and ERP system experience advantageous
4. Management or supervisory experience advantageous
5. GCSE Maths and English Grade A*-C
