Accounts Payable Assistant- 6 Month FTC

Are you detail-oriented, organised, and ready to make an impact in a dynamic finance team?
We re looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Assistant to join our client and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth financial operations!
What You ll Do:

• Accurately process invoices and payments, maintaining a seamless accounts payable system.
• Be the go-to champion for our Open Accounts Purchase Ordering System (POP) and eBis, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, providing excellent communication and support.
• Assist in implementing and managing the BACS payment system.
• Support internal and external audits, contributing to a transparent and efficient finance function.

• Experience in a busy office environment; finance experience is a plus!
• Proficiency in finance system software (experience with Open Accounts is a bonus).
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle large volumes of data.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to teamwork, integrity, and excellence.

• Good GCSE grades (3 Grade 4 or above).
• A foundation-level accountancy/bookkeeping qualification is desirable.
