Accounts Payable Assistant

Our client is seeking a proactive and adaptable Accounts Payable Assistant to join their experienced and friendly team in Manchester City Centre. This role offers the opportunity to manage suppliers, ensuring timely payments and providing a professional service. The successful candidate will also have the chance to get involved in projects alongside their day-to-day role, fostering personal growth and continuous improvement.

What you'll do:

1. Manage suppliers globally
2. Ensure timely payments and provide a professional service
3. Lead query resolution on the Supplier Base, ensuring compliance
4. Support the team in all aspects of Accounts Payable
5. Manage P2P Invoicing and stakeholders both internally and externally
6. Align with company values in all tasks and interactions

1. Experience working in an Accounts Payable role with suppliers
2. Highly organised, able to prioritise work appropriately
3. Ability to remain calm under pressure
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills – with the wider team, internal and external stakeholders
