What You'll Do:
In this role, you will be the backbone of our accounts department, ensuring smooth financial operations and supporting our growth. Here's a snapshot of your responsibilities:

  • Bank Reconciliations: Keep our financial records accurate and up-to-date, ensuring every penny counts!
  • Xero Accounting: utilise our cloud-based accounting software to post transactions seamlessly.
  • Purchase Ledger Management: Oversee the purchase ledger and assist the Accounts Assistant with invoice postings.
  • Invoice Processing: Match supply invoices to delivery notes and verify pricing accuracy to maintain our reputation for reliability.
  • Credit Control: Manage the sales ledger for B2B and marketing contributions - your expertise will drive our success!
  • Payroll Preparation: Aid in payroll preparation through external accounts using Planday, ensuring our team is well taken care of.
  • Month-End Processes: Contribute to month-end reporting and VAT reviews on Xero - your detail-oriented nature will shine here!
  • Budget Reporting: Prepare monthly budget reports for marketing initiatives, helping us strategise for future growth.
  • Supplier and Customer Liaison: Maintain day-to-day communications with suppliers, customers, and our leadership team, fostering strong relationships.

Who You Are:
