Responsibilities of an Accounts Manager:

Preparation of annual accounts, business and personal tax
Identifying any tax issues for example P11D, S455 tax, VAT implications etc
Providing support/cover and assistance for subordinates when required, responsibility to undertake all jobs of subordinates.
Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of outputs to either clients or senior managers.
Reviewing the work of junior members of staff and recording feedback
Scheduling and allocating work to subordinates and providing technical assistance where required.

What we are looking for in an Accounts Manager:

ICAS/ACCA or Qualified by experience
At least 5+ years’ experience in UK Practice
Experience dealing with own portfolio and overseeing/managing junior members of staff.
