Job description

Are you an ACA / ACCA Finalist looking to take the next step in your career? Clark Wood is working with a highly regarded independent firm of accountants in Camberley, who are looking to add a talented Accounts & Auditor to their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive practice that provides high-quality services to a diverse client base across various sectors.

About the Role:

As an Accounts & Auditor, you will play a key role in delivering a range of accounting, audit, and advisory services to clients. You will work closely with senior staff and partners, gaining valuable exposure to a variety of industries, while continuing your professional development and progressing toward qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with the planning, execution, and completion of audits for a range of clients.

Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders in compliance with FRS 102 / FRS 105.

Preparing and submitting corporation tax and personal tax returns.

Building and maintaining strong client relationships by providing proactive advice and support.

Managing workload to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Supervising and mentoring junior staff, reviewing their work, and providing feedback.

What We’re Looking For:

ACA / ACCA Finalist with prior experience in an accountancy practice.

Strong experience in both audit and accounts preparation.

Good technical knowledge of UK GAAP and tax compliance.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments effectively.

A proactive and ambitious individual who is keen to progress and develop their career.
