Now, we want you to be a part of our journey as a Accounts Assistant at our Volkswagen Dealership in Birmingham.

Hours of work are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour's lunch.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Checking accuracy and validity of incoming invoices.
• Daily and weekly banking reports.
• Updating and answering queries from our suppliers.
• Updating internal computer systems.
• Chasing and allocating debtors.
• Purchase Ledger & Sales Ledger duties - including inputting invoices, allocating payments, and payment runs.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be confident with various computer software and confident in learning new systems, and most importantly have a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Previous experience of at least 12 months in a similar role.
• The candidate must have purchase ledger experience.
• Have a good understanding of Mathematics.
• Hold a GCSE qualification of a Grade C or 4 and above in Maths.
