Accounts Assistant - Yateley - Hybrid working - Up to £30,000


Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a new opportunity? A growing business in Yateley is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to join their team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment with strong career development potential.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments
  2. Set up payments for approval and enter them into the weekly cash flow forecast
  3. Process cost of sale invoices and stock entries
  4. Match supplier invoices to orders, ensuring correct pricing and paperwork
  5. Assist with bank reconciliations and employee expenses
  6. Manage credit control, sending weekly AR reports and customer statements
  7. Work with internal teams to resolve outstanding debt and invoice queries
  8. Prepare draft UK VAT returns
  9. Handle basic intercompany accruals
  10. Upload and reconcile credit card statements
  11. Process intercompany recharges
  12. Track prepayments and release them to profit and loss
  13. Support order and sales order tracking
  14. Assist with general accounts administration tasks

The Ideal Candidate:
  1. Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant role or similar
  2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  3. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  4. Proficient in accounting software and Excel
  5. Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams
