ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our finance team and contribute to our continued success.

This role is full time, 40 hours and based in Kingham, Oxfordshire.

Salary £28,000 - £35,000 per annum.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Completing retail sales to cash reconciliations
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assist with maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Assist with a variety of finance duties including maintaining purchase and sales ledgers
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Maintenance of data in the finance system
  • Month end procedures
  • Ad-hoc duties and any project work as required for the smooth running of the department.

SKILLS YOU WILL BRING

  • Previous experience in an accounts or finance role is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
