Here at Doncasters we specialise in turning metals into motion, working with household names such as Rolls Royce and Airbus. We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to help us continue our journey, based in our site in Chard, Somerset.

The working hours for this role are Monday - Thursday 0800-1600 with an early finish on Fridays 0700-1200! This job also offers flexibility in hours.

The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy in reconciling supplier statements, and maintaining and posting the cash book to keep financial records up to date. You will also prepare weekly forecasts, helping the team stay ahead of cash flow, and proactively request refunds where necessary. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in supporting credit control activities, helping to ensure smooth financial operations and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and clients alike!
