Our client, a reputable organisation with a strong presence in the UK for over 20 years, is seeking a dedicated Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a hybrid role, with two days in the Leamington Spa office and three days working from home. Offering a salary of £28,000 plus excellent benefits, this role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in financial accounting and reporting within a supportive team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end accounting processes, ensuring accuracy in key balance sheet categories.
• Support the team in preparing statutory accounts and financial reports.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Help ensure VAT and tax compliance for UK and Ireland entities.
• Assist in providing necessary information for external audits and tax computations.

What Experience is Required

• 1-2 years of experience in a finance environment, either in industry or practice.
• Studying towards AAT or early-stage ACCA qualification.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary of £28,000 per annum.

The office is based in Leamington Spa, with easy commutable access from Coventry, Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon, Rugby, and Banbury.
