As we continue to scale and develop our Finance department, we are looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee and manage our global Accounting teams. This will include managing a senior team of accountants and developing efficient, reliable processes across multiple international entities. The perfect candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and show the ability to shape new processes as well as improve the existing ones.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other applicable standards.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to support the company’s growth.
  • Draft and review accounting memos to document complex transactions and address technical accounting matters.
  • Ensure compliance with all debt covenants, financial regulations and applicable standards.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.
  • Lead and improve the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Drive the implementation of new accounting systems and software to support the company’s growth.
  • Mentoring and developing a global accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support business operations and strategic decision-making.
  • Support of external audits and liaison with auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls with proven recent experience in the field is a must.
  • Experience working is a fast-growth organization within a related industry (SaaS, Marketplace, Tech) would be a great asset.
  • Chartered Accountant and/or Certified Public Accountant is essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite, Navision, Oracle).
