Our Corporate Controller’s department is seeking Lead or Senior Accountants with “Big 4” firm experience to join our growing team as a part of our Accounting Leadership Rotational Program (ALP). This is a Full-time, Exempt role. Position is eligible for a hybrid schedule or limited hybrid schedule in our Worcester, MA office. Competitive base salary, incentive compensation bonus program, and sign-on bonus included.
Position Summary:
The Hanover ALP is an exceptional opportunity for an early-in-career CPA aspiring to management to learn various aspects of accounting, SEC financial reporting and internal controls of a national Property & Casualty Insurer while developing leadership skills, receiving mentorship, and working toward a management position.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Position Requirements:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. An MBA is a plus. Minimum 1+ years, up to 5 years of experience with a “Big 4” CPA firm. Some portion of this experience must be in the attest function. A current CPA license or actively pursuing a CPA license. A track record of success, both academically and professionally. Demonstrated leadership qualities.
