We are partnering with a leading accountancy practice to help strengthen their advisory team in London. They are looking for an experienced Director to provide technical accounting advice and drive business development.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, sectors, and projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality service, managing financials, and driving operational efficiencies. The successful candidate will play a key role in business development, building client relationships, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling services.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical accounting advice on areas such as IFRS 9, 15, 16, acquisition accounting, revenue recognition, and financial instruments.
2. Drive business development and acquire new clients while nurturing commercial relationships.
3. Identify opportunities for cross-selling services.
4. Manage financials and drive operational efficiencies.
5. Build and maintain industry contacts.

Qualifications:

1. Hold a degree or equivalent qualification.
2. Be a chartered accountant.
3. Possess up-to-date knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, and Company law.
4. Have substantial experience in providing technical accounting advice.
5. Demonstrate a proven track record in business development.
