Job Description

An exciting opportunity for you to be part of Abbvie’s first launch into solid tumors. This is an extraordinary chance to make a significant impact on patients in the field of oncology. In this role, you will take on the responsibility for the business within your assigned territory, working cross-functionally internally and externally, collaborating closely with target customer groups to ensure the successful implementation of our innovative oncology medicine. Your efforts will be crucial in driving the adoption and success of this treatment. Customer selling and relationship management:

  • Drive Sales – Own the customer engagement for target HCPs across channels, to reflect customer preferences, leveraging available content and multiple engagement channels.
  • Develop SMART pre-call objectives in line with territory plans and aligned to brand strategy.
  • Effectively handle objections or concerns, consistently gaining a logical, reasonable call to action/close on every sales call.
  • Educate medical providers, other relevant decision-makers, and affiliated healthcare professionals.
  • Identify & develop disease state experts building advocacy aligned to territory plan.

Continuously strive to gain market intelligence:

  • Organize and manage stakeholder meetings.
  • Differentiates AbbVie's value proposition to physicians or other stakeholders assigned from any competitors.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to flex style based on customer insights.

Clinical and Market Knowledge Development:

  • Deep understanding of the product and its place within the local NHS healthcare economy.
  • Ability to navigate NHS ecosystem barriers & identify opportunities to deliver collaborative results.
  • Share best practices to enhance our business success.
  • Proactively initiate, develop and implement a growth plan to develop in current position and prepare for future opportunities.
  • Demonstrate in-depth disease, product, market, and competitive intelligence expertise.
  • Have a deep understanding of the multi-stakeholder environment.

Territory Management:

  • Continuously analyze sales reports (CRM etc.) and overlay field intelligence to adapt the territory plan.
  • Collaborate closely with medical colleagues to support customer needs and implement regional/national programs.
  • Develop a business plan for own territory in line with brand strategy.
  • Effectively target and track resources to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Adhere to industry and AbbVie compliance requirements.

Qualifications
  • Must have proven Pharmaceutical sales success.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills to build, develop and maintain internal and external partnerships.
  • Solutions-focused, positive attitude is a must.
  • Strategic mindset, data analytics proficiency.
  • Experience within Oncology and ovarian cancer would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • Possesses excellent customer engagement skills to build, develop, and maintain internal and external partnerships. Capable of engaging both remotely and in-person.
  • A solution-focused approach, resilience, and a positive attitude.
  • Curiosity and self-awareness are essential.
  • A passion for experimentation to identify new opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Commitment to achieve goals, even when faced with obstacles or setbacks, a strong work ethic.
