We are a fast-growing eCommerce business with a turnover of £25m. Our mission is to improve our product and rapidly grow our business. As part of our growth, we are looking for an Accounts Receivable Lead to join our dynamic business. The business is currently undergoing transition away from a centralised finance team due to a carve out and as such are looking for talented individuals to join its new Finance Team.

Role Overview

The Accounts Receivable Lead will provide ongoing and continuous support for our clients. You will be the primary liaison between fee-paying clients and agencies. Accounts Receivable is a core function that interfaces with many departments within the company. This allows for a unique opportunity to gain exposure and experience across business units. This is a fast-paced and exciting role, and you will be part of a dynamic group of individuals with a great team spirit.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Use Fiqas Abillity, our software platform, that manages billing and cash collection (training will be provided).
  2. Responsible for order to cash process from invoicing, payment reconciliation, reporting, and credit control.
  3. Contact customers via direct calls and emails in an efficient and effective manner to secure payment on past due balances to bring accounts current.
  4. Build and maintain solid relationships with our customers by phone and email.
  5. Manage all facets of tailored customer payment solutions.
  6. Send invoices to customers and resolve inquiries verbally and in writing.
  7. Remain flexible and adaptable to changes in processes and shifts.
  8. Ensure the delivery of high standards in customer service and satisfaction (phone and email).
  9. Follow Sales Operations workflow and guidelines and suggest enhancements to the process.
  10. Ad hoc administrative duties as they arise.

Desired Skills and Experience

You:

  1. Experienced AR Lead / Manager.
  2. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  4. Have a strong sense of urgency and follow-through.
  5. Ability to quickly and effectively learn and adapt to new software technologies.
  6. Proficiency in external systems and software (Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, NetSuite).
  7. Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with managers, co-workers, and business adjacency peers.
