Why we need this role

The primary purpose of this role is to help drive the success of our Enterprise team by finding and winning New Logo prospects. Acquisition has been defined by Colt as a key area of focus for our Enterprise Sales division and critical to the future of our organisation. This role sits in our 'Global Teaming' function, finding and winning New Logo prospects in EMEA where the company is HQ'd in APAC - International Collaboration is a key growth area for Colt.

What you will do

  1. Profile prospects based on Colt's sweet spot.
  2. Identify and understand prospects' business strategy and align how Colt can deliver solutions that drive enhanced value against specific, measurable metrics.
  3. Develop and manage relationships with prospects to attain new business.
  4. Develop and manage relationships with Colt stakeholders in APAC, including Sales Leadership.
  5. Develop effective sales strategies and plans for new sales of Colt services & solutions.
  6. Develop and implement an effective customer contact strategy to ensure 'high and wide' engagement at all levels of the customer or prospect.
  7. Develop a pro-active consultative sales approach.
  8. Collaborate with colleagues across Colt to develop solutions that address and support the customers' stated outcomes.
  9. Achieve/overachieve personal sales bookings targets selling Colt solutions & products to a defined base of new logo prospects.
  10. Accurate forecasting and pipeline management.

What we're looking for

  1. Experience in business development of New Logo sales.
  2. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  3. Experience working with complex, multi-divisional, international customers.
  4. Comfortable presenting, consulting, and advising at C-level and other executives.
  5. Familiarity with MEDDICC or equivalent qualification methodology.
  6. Assertive verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strategic relationships within organisations.
  7. Ability to work closely with the customer and effectively negotiate directly with, and internally on their behalf.
  8. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into customer insights and leverage with customer engagement strategies.
  9. Experience in collaborating and guiding cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales, Product, Marketing, Service Delivery).
  10. Brings strong technology and Telecoms knowledge with technical aptitude to stay current in the evolving technology sector.
  11. Effective and confident decision-making based on business and financial principles.
  12. Working knowledge of MS Office suite.
  13. You might have strong consultative selling experience from another industry and the desire to move into a career in Telecoms.

Education

A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, marketing or a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
