Our client is an award-winning London based agency who are looking for a talented new B2B PR Account Manager to join their friendly, vibrant, client-focused team. While this PR agency works predominantly with B2B clients, they adopt a creative approach, through a consumer lens and represent blue chip media companies across PR, marketing, design and tech.

About Account Manager, B2B PR role

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys writing, as a particular focus of the role will be on thought leadership. You will have at least two years B2B PR experience with a proven track record of achieving impressive results for your clients, creating stories that raise their profile and get them noticed. You will be passionate and curious about news, current affairs and the media in general, across traditional and social channels. This role would be perfect for someone who is looking for a B2B role that offers a little more creativity!

Key Responsibilities for the Account Manager, B2B PR:

  1. You'll be working across clients in the advertising/design/marketing/tech space, including highly prestigious network agencies.
  2. Liaising with clients and journalists, and pitching ideas to press in the UK and across the globe.
  3. Putting together B2B PR strategies for existing and prospective clients.
  4. Writing/editing press releases, thought pieces, comments or blogs.
  5. Sourcing and securing opportunities for key client spokespeople.
  6. Leading and managing junior team members.
  7. Building journalist contacts.
  8. Playing an active role in organic client growth and new business pitches.

The Ideal Account Manager, B2B PR candidate:

This agency are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial B2B Senior Account Manager, looking to take their next step on their career journey. Ideally you will be either an established SAE looking towards your next role or an Account Manager seeking more autonomy and creativity in their role.

Essential Skills and Competencies of the Account Manager, B2B PR:

  1. 2+ years B2B PR expertise (Any B2B industry experience considered).
  2. Strong writing and editing abilities.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  4. Strong press office skills with well established journalist contacts.
