Account Manager

Location: Swinton, Manchester with Flexible working, (Extensive Travel within Europe required, with occasional Global Travel)

Working Pattern: 37 hours per week

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Aerospace team as a Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing direct accounts and distributors within a defined business sector area. The focus will be on maintaining and growing the sales volume, revenue, and profit of these accounts by working closely with sales, technical, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with established and prospective Direct Accounts & Distributors in the Aerospace sector
• Identify and create new sales opportunities (customers and products)
• Support and coordinate new product introductions to customers and distributors
• Participate in the monthly planning and forecasting process
• Represent the company at industry conferences and exhibitions
• Travel to customers, distributors, and events (approximately 50% of the time)

Essential Qualifications/Experience

• A Business, Marketing, or Science Degree
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• BSB sales or customer consultation experience
• Experience in Manufacturing / Engineering markets (particularly Aerospace or Metals sectors) is desirable but not essential
• Familiarity with relevant software tools

• In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and processes
