Job Title: Account Director/Manager

Location: Basingstoke (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to £40,000 + OTE

Role Overview:

Our client is looking for an experienced Account Director to manage and grow key client relationships. This role requires a strategic, consultative sales approach to ensure continued value for partners while driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise clients.
  2. Identify and drive new revenue opportunities within existing accounts.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions for clients.
  4. Lead negotiations and contract discussions with high-level stakeholders.
  5. Drive the company’s value proposition through solution selling and a consultative approach.
  6. Represent the business at industry events and networking functions.
  7. Leverage AI-driven insights to optimise customer engagement and retention.
  8. Provide forecasting and strategic account planning to senior management.
Key Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in strategic account management or an Account Director role, ideally within tech, SaaS, or IT distribution.
  2. Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  3. Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation capabilities.
  4. Track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  5. Deep understanding of technology trends and customer needs.
  6. Experience with AI-powered sales tools.
  7. A highly proactive, driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
