Location: 230 Blackfriars, London (3 days/week onsite)

The Role

We’re seeking ambitious, driven individuals to join our Commercial team as we scale QuantSpark and expand our impact across the public sector.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Bid Management
  • Lead and manage end-to-end bid processes, ensuring submissions meet public sector procurement standards.
  • Identify and track relevant procurement opportunities, developing winning strategies for securing new contracts.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams (analytics, AI, legal, and finance) to create compelling proposals.
  • Ensure all bids and tenders align with compliance regulations and deliver value-driven solutions.
  • Develop deep expertise in government procurement frameworks and buying processes to improve success rates.
Business Development & Relationship Management
  • Establish and expand relationships with key stakeholders across government agencies, local authorities, and public bodies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to public sector clients, understanding their challenges and positioning QuantSpark’s services as a solution.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities, including partnership development and contract expansion.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance QuantSpark’s presence in the public sector.
Strategic Growth & Revenue Generation
  • Drive revenue growth by securing public sector contracts and ensuring long-term engagement.
  • Develop and execute a strategic public sector account plan, focusing on expansion and retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor services that meet government needs and policy priorities.
  • Support contract negotiations and commercial agreements to secure sustainable and impactful engagements.
Experience & Skills Required
  • 3+ years of experience in public sector sales, account management, or bid management.
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes, bidding frameworks, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record of successfully winning and managing public sector contracts.
  • Experience building long-term relationships with government stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Ability to navigate complex procurement landscapes and develop winning bid strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to tailor data, analytics, and AI solutions to meet public sector needs.
  • Background in AI, data analytics, or consulting is a plus.
