Reports to: Head of Commercial
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000
Location: 230 Blackfriars, London (3 days/week onsite)

The Role

We are looking for an exceptional Private Equity Account Executive to build and deepen our relationships within the Private Equity (PE) community, positioning QuantSpark as the partner of choice for data analytics and AI-driven solutions. This role requires someone with deep skills in relationship building, strategic account planning, and a consultative sales approach. You will focus specifically on driving value creation at both the fund-level (fund analytics, due diligence support, data-driven investment decisions) and at the portfolio-company level (operational improvement, growth initiatives, advanced analytics solutions).

Acting as a highly credible and trusted advisor to PE clients, you will proactively identify, unlock, and manage opportunities where QuantSpark’s innovative and customised analytics products and services can have the most impact on investment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Relationship Building & Account Management
  • Proactively establish, nurture, and grow relationships across a network of Private Equity firms, investing executives, and portfolio company management teams.
  • Position QuantSpark as a strategic partner and trusted advisor within the PE community, by deeply understanding client investment priorities, strategic objectives, and operational challenges.
  • Attend relevant Private Equity industry events, conferences, and networking forums to actively promote QuantSpark’s thought leadership, products, and solutions, expanding visibility and growing industry credibility.
Value Creation & Revenue Generation
  • Lead strategic dialogues with clients to clearly communicate the value our AI, analytics, and data-driven solutions can create at both the fund and portfolio-company levels.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new partnership opportunities—ranging from value-creation initiatives, M&A analytics, due diligence research, portfolio analytics, growth and operational efficiency projects.
  • Tailor and position QuantSpark’s offerings to enhance investors’ portfolio outcomes, improve returns, and drive significant value creation and transformation.
  • Drive sustainable revenue growth through successful onboarding of strategic accounts, repeat business, and successful up-sell and cross-sell within client organisations.
Strategic Account Planning and Opportunity Development
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans covering priority PE accounts, focusing on value alignment, long-term growth, and revenue potential.
  • Collaborate closely with internal specialists (Data Scientists, Analytics Experts, Product Development teams) to effectively design and deliver compelling, customised proposals and solutions.
  • Support contract negotiations, pricing, and commercial arrangements that reflect QuantSpark’s strategic goals and achieve mutual value.
Experience & Skills Required
  • 3+ years of experience in relationship-focused business development, strategic account executive roles, sales, or consulting within or supporting Private Equity firms.
  • Strong existing network or demonstrated ability to rapidly build relationships within the Private Equity sector.
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth through consultative selling of analytics, data, technology, software, or strategic advisory solutions.
  • Deep understanding of how analytics and AI solutions create value at both fund-level decision making (investment selection, due diligence, benchmarking) and portfolio-level outcomes (operational efficiency, pricing optimisation, customer acquisition, digital transformation).
  • Exceptional interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills, enabling trusted and credible engagement at senior levels of client organisations.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive approach, and ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to clearly articulate complex technical solutions and value propositions in business-focused terms.
