Job Description Summary : The Media Executive is a key role within the team, focused on supporting the MX Associate Director and MX Manager to ensure the client has the optimal media support in place. Working alongside your MX Manager, the role focuses on media planning and activation, specifically the point where the strategy is translated into a Media Experience (Mx) for clients. This role is to work on/across JDE (Jacobs Douwe and Egberts (coffee brands) & EDF Energy.
The Role
The Media Executive is a key role within the team, focused on supporting the MX Associate Director and MX Manager to ensure the client has the optimal media support in place. Working alongside your MX Manager, the role focuses on media planning and activation, specifically the point where the strategy is translated into a Media Experience (Mx) for clients. This role is to work on/across JDE (Jacobs Douwe and Egberts (coffee brands) & EDF Energy.
Jacobs Douwe Egberts (JDE) is a leading pure-play coffee and tea company, selling their products in more than 100 countries globally. In the UK, Havas Media supports 3 of their well-known coffee brands; Kenco, L’OR and Tassimo. Kenco reached its 100-year anniversary in 2023 and remains in a strong category position across the instant coffee range. L’OR launched their first ever coffee machine (L’OR Barista) and is going from strength to strength while challenging the more established Nespresso. We expect 2025 to bring lots of opportunity and positive challenges. We are looking for someone who wants to join the team and help us further grow the strong client relationships we’ve built over the past 4 years.
EDF Energy is the UK’s largest generator of zero-carbon electricity, focused on developing domestic wind, nuclear, and solar energy to decrease dependence on imports and mitigate future price increases. Havas Media manages EDF’s media campaigns, highlighting the company’s commitment to net-zero and its value to current and prospective customers. As we approach 2025, an exciting year for EDF, we are seeking someone to support our team in creating standout campaigns that differentiate us from competitors in advertising and partnerships. This role involves assisting with daily planning tasks that contribute to campaigns showcasing EDF’s innovative products, including energy solutions, electric vehicles, solar panels, and heat pumps. Together with Havas Media, EDF is transforming the energy market towards a greener future.
