Based in stunning central London offices (some hybrid/part time working also offered), this role offers a unique opportunity to lead multi-market communications projects for some of the world’s most iconic brands. As an experienced Account Director, you will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing complex corporate reputation programmes, navigating sensitive issues, and delivering impactful results. This is a one-off opportunity to work on some of the world’s most recognizable brands, on a global scale and a chance to escalate your own career path.
The Role:
- Provide strategic counsel on a range of corporate communications issues and develop and implement strategic communication plans.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, key stakeholders, including media, influencers and NGOs.
- Lead and manage the day-to-day execution of multi-market PR programmes for a range of FMCG brands, focusing on corporate reputation, sustainability and social impact.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential reputational risks and develop and implement crisis management plans.
- Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
- Oversee and provide guidance to the team and collaborate closely with integrated teams across the agency.
- Contribute to new business development.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and timelines.
Skills:
- Experienced AD level.
- Strong knowledge of corporate communications, reputation management, social impact and sustainability comms.
- Proven experience managing multi-market PR programmes for large, multinationals.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders, FMCG based clients (EU clients ideally).
- Excellent media relations skills and established network of media contacts.
- Agency background – ideally London.
- Experience in crisis comms, issues management and navigating complex and sensitive topics.
- Ability to feed into emerging projects, identify risks, respond to and flag issues when needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with integrated teams and providing strategic counsel across disciplines.
- Line management responsibility.
- Data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyse campaign performance.
- Experience of financial budgeting.
