Who We Are Looking For:

ConcentricLife is seeking an experienced Account Director with a passion for and a track record in healthcare and life sciences to join our London-based global team. As an Account Director, you will own the day-to-day client relationship, building trusted and valued partnerships, and play an integral role in the success of your account, your team, and the wider agency.

Reports to: The Global Client Lead

What You Will Do:

  1. Forge client relationships built on trust, respect, and integrity.
  2. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the client’s business and actively seek out opportunities for organic growth, taking the initiative to develop proposals and convert instinct into valued and worthwhile workstreams.
  3. Take ownership of challenges, using your experience and expertise to identify, understand, and manage potential issues, challenging appropriately to determine the level of support needed to seek a timely and satisfactory resolution.
  4. Consistently add value, both strategically and tactically.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Demonstrate an ability to work both collaboratively and independently, flexing your approach based on the needs of the business.
  • Partner with cross-functional department leads to develop and present proposals, recommendations, POVs, and strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee the development of key documentation e.g., status reports, project briefs, SOWs, financial reporting, etc.
  • Work with finance and project management partners to manage and maintain the financial health of your accounts.
  • Develop an understanding of the ConcentricLife Global revenue and profitability model to monitor performance to ensure account profitability.
  • Empower and provide guidance to the full team required to deliver exceptional work for your client and the agency.
  • Play an integral role in the development, training, and motivation of the team.
  • Oversee and develop client solution team skills to ensure clear and concise business correspondence.
  • Make the most of others’ strengths.
  • Provide constructive feedback and identify training opportunities at both a micro and macro level.
  • Help others contribute to the success of the team and the agency.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in an account/client services role within the life sciences communications/advertising industry.
  • A passion for innovating healthcare advertising.
  • A willingness to embrace ambiguity.
  • Experience building business through organic growth.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, team building, and relationship management skills.
  • A drive to elevate both thinking and the work.
  • A curious nature.
  • Experience leading teams to plan and deliver omni-channel campaigns.
  • Experience managing, training, and mentoring teams to reach their full potential.
  • Experience with launch campaigns is also beneficial but not essential.
  • The desire to be great.
