We are now looking for a talented and enthusiastic Account Director within Ashfield MedComms.

About the role

The role would suit a candidate who enjoys multi-tasking with a positive attitude and is solutions focused. As an Account Director you will:

  1. Be responsible for supervising a range of communications projects within Medical Education, Medical Affairs and Publications.
  2. Use your project management, leadership skills and scientific expertise to deliver a range of scientific services to clients.
  3. Establish strong relationships - maintaining excellent relations with clients and your internal colleagues meeting and surpassing client needs and guaranteeing high business standards.
  4. Have experience of delivering a variety of projects and be willing to take on mentorship and line management activities.
  5. Research information from a variety of sources in order to provide expertise in therapy areas and products and act as a primary client liaison point.
  6. Work as part of a collaborative team and supervise a range of projects working on dynamic and fast-paced accounts.
  7. Lead on planning and strategy and be a primary liaison point.

To succeed you will have:

  1. Strong experience working in a medical communications environment.
  2. A proven background in project and client management and be comfortable leading on client-facing projects on dynamic accounts while meeting client and group objectives.
  3. Experience across a variety of deliverables.
  4. Strong therapy area experience.
  5. Excellent financial understanding with experience of budgeting and forecasting.
  6. A flair for working well within a team with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  7. A background in Life Sciences would be beneficial.
